Collocation with Go

Hello Everyone, Hype Think Educationရဲ့ English sharing sessionကနေ ပြန်လည်ကြိုဆိုလိုက်ပါတယ်။

Introduction

ဒီနေ့မှာတော့ Englishစာရေးသားရာမှာ Goနဲ့တွဲအသုံးပြုလို့ရမယ့် collocationတချို့ကို example sentenceတွေနဲ့တကွ မျှဝေပေးသွားမှာမို့ တူတူလေ့လာကြည့်ရအောင်

1) Go

ပထမဆုံးအနေနဲ့ Goတစ်လုံးထဲဆိုရင် သူ့နောက်မှာ nounတွေကို ကပ်ပြီး [go abroad, go home, go fishing]စတဲ့ပုံစံတွေနဲ့ အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. We should go abroad on holiday this year.

2) Go to

Go toကို အသုံးပြုတဲ့အခါ နောက်က nounတွေက [school, work, country] နာမည်တွေဆိုရင် go toရဲ့ အနောက်ကနေ “the”ဆိုတဲ့ articleမပါဘဲ go to school, go to workဆိုပြီး အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. Peter usually goes to work at 9a.m every morning.

3) Go to a 

[Party, concert, meeting, restaurant]အစရှိတဲ့ verbတွေကို goနဲ့ ရေးချင်တဲ့အခါ go toရဲ့အနောက်ကနေ article “a” ကိုထည့်ပြီး go to a party, go to a restaurantဆိုပြီး အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. Let’s go to a concert that will be held in Bangkok next month.

4) Go to the 

Go toရဲ့ နောက်မှာ [park,cinema,beach, supermarket]စတဲ့ nounတွေကို အသုံးပြုချင်တယ်ဆိုရင် go toရဲ့နောက်မှာ article “the”ကို သုံးပြီး go to the cinema, go to the parkအစရှိသဖြင့် အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. Last new year holiday, I went to the beach with my family.

5) Go on

[Holiday, a trip, a date, an adventure]စတဲ့ nounတွေကို goနဲ့ သုံးတဲ့အခါ go on holiday, go on a trip, go on an adventureဆိုပြီး တွဲအသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. Would you like to go on a date with me? 

6) Go for

[A walk, a drive ,a drink, a nap]စတဲ့ nounတွေကို goနဲ့ တွဲသုံးချင်တဲ့အခါ go for a walk, go for a drive, go for a napဆိုပြီး အသုံးပြုနိုင်ပါတယ်။

Eg. If you finish your assignment, let’s go for a drink.

Conclusion
