“Dreamers To Doers” is the first on-ground event hosted by Hype Think Education. We organised this event ~
In the age of advanced technology, every young person possesses their passion and dream. While some are progressing towards their goals, others are still lost and find it challenging to start due to a lack of support. The most concerning aspect is the disconnect between their career and their passionate path. In light of this, we present the “Dreamers To Doers” event to help young people achieve the following outcomes ~
- Discover their passions and hidden talents for personal growth.
- Resolve confusion about careers, such as choosing between a job with a good income or one they are truly passionate about.
- Connect with valuable networks and create more opportunities.
Target audience : For young people who have lost their pathway to their dream.
Guest Speaker and Panelists Announcement : Dreamers to Doers Event
Guest Speaker : Dreamers to Doers Event [ Ms.Wyut Yee Win ]
Ma Wyut Yee Win graduated with a Bachelor of Technology [Information Technology] and Bachelor of Engineering [Information Technology] from West Yangon Technological University [WYTU]. She is also the founder of the Youth Centre Association.
Guest Speaker’s Outlines: She shared insights about career development, achieving personal growth, discussed common confusions among youth regarding their careers, and provided other useful advice. She also advised on how to choose the perfect career.
Panelist : Dreamers to Doers Event [ Ma Wint Nandar Aung ]
Ma Wint graduated with a degree in Business and Management. As a freelancer, she has more than two years of experience in social projects and social benefit organisations. She is a Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Development Alumnus of the “Southeast Asian Leader Initiative [YSEALI]” and currently works as a Research Coordinator at Proximity Designs. In 2021, she founded the non-governmental organisation “Edvice Hub.”
Panelist : Dreamers to Doers Event [ Ko Zaw Ye Aung ]
Ko Zaw Ye graduated from Sofiyar University with a specialisation in Islamic subjects. He is the CEO and Co-Founder of The Coffee Club, also the Founder and Program Director of The Convo [an online social class], and currently works as a personal development trainer and English instructor.
Panelist : Dreamers to Doers Event [ Ko John Ten Khant ]
Ko John is the CEO and founding member of Conceptians Organization. He is also an Exchange Alumni of the Myanmar Youth Leadership Program [MYLP].
Panelists’ Outlines: All of our panelists shared their founding experiences, career development experiences, different knowledge, and other useful topics. They also discussed how they overcame difficulties in pursuing their dreams.
Summary
- Firstly, we are really pleased to be attending our first outdoor event, more than we expected. Actually we just hoped our audience would be about [100] but it was [190] audience. This really exceeded our specified population.
- Overall, we strived very much, consulted various plans to carry out this, our first on ground event and we were really excited for that. Luckily, our final result was amazing. Our event included some workshops to feel like a family type. Some even made new friends. So, we discussed the topics and had fun with questions and answers sessions and our first on ground event was over successfully.
In summary, this event is for those who have lost their ways to reach their target goals, to find their hidden talents and to overcome common problems in choosing a career path. And we also discussed career development, networking and founding experiences in question and answer sessions with our participants. So, we can tell that all participants knew clearly how to choose a career and how to grab their dreams.
